Niall McLaughlin at WILD TULIPS

10 / 07 / 21 – 17 / 07 / 21

WILD TULIPS Outreach presents Left Sit, an exhibition by recent graduate Niall McLaughlin.

Niall Mclaughlin was born in 1997 in Dublin. He was raised in Derry and studied at Manchester School of Art, graduating in 2020. He lives and works in Derry.

Niall McLaughlin’s work deals with traditional forms of painting such as still life, landscape and portraiture with instances of modernity through references to cinema, photography and humour. In Left Sit, he exhibits paintings made in the past year.

Due to lockdown restrictions in 2020, many new art graduates did not get a chance to have their final degree show. WILD TULIPS Outreach is providing a space over summer 2021 for three painting graduates to have solo shows. WILD TULIPS Outreach provides a platform for new graduates and the next generation of artists.
